Isaiah 9:6. For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, The Mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Now that Thanksgiving has passed, and Christmas is upon us, let’s turn our attention to the reason for the season.

It is a wonderful time of the year to reflect on the birth of our Lord and Savior – Jesus Christ. Christmas morning will be a time of opening packages, and giving of gifts to others and celebrating another year of the blessings God has bestowed upon us.

But, let’s not forget that Christmas is a time of sharing the Good News of our Savior’s birth. I pray that you will have a blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year. Even with all the problems in our Nation today, we can still celebrate and rejoice to serve a risen Savior.
