CHOIR PRACTICE: Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at 6:30 p.m.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY: January 7th at 7:30 p.m. Our lesson will be Romans 8:28.

YOUTH MEETINGS: Will begin Wednesday, January 7th at 6:00 p.m. for ages 9-13. Dinner will be at 6:00 p.m. for this age group. There will be a cost of $10 a month for each child to cover the cost of food for the youth. Marian Leigh, Trina, Robin and Mae will be leading the youth with an In-Depth Discipleship Experience called Band Together, The Warrior Code.

HIGH SCHOOLERS’ MEETING: Wednesday, January 7th at 7:00 p.m. The leaders are Julie Rew and Terry Keyser. They will be doing an In-Depth Discipleship Experience called Dig In, the Devoted Warrior. The ping pong tables will be set up.

DEACONS MEETING: Is being postponed until Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at 7:00 p.m.

WMU MEETING: Is being postponed until Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at 7:00 p.m.

YOUTH FUND RAISER DINNERS:

• January 11th – Turkey dinner with mashed potatoes, peas, cranberry sauce, rolls and dessert.
• January 25th – Spaghetti dinner

SHALOM GARDEN ORPHANAGE IN KENYA: Please continue to pray for Margaret Kanyiri and all 21 of the orphans. A heartfelt thank you is given to those who’ve contributed toward this wonderful cause. The check is being sent to them this week.

ACQUIRE THE FIRE: Youth conference will be in Richmond on January 30, 2009. The cost will be $45 per person. There will be a sign-up list in the Fellowship Hall, or you can e-mail Mae at nschools@kaballero.com
